So Who Can Use This System?
In a nutshell, this system would be perfect for just about anyone who owns a well. In particular, this solar system (pun intended) is ideal for a home victimized by power outages (to be used as the primary or backup pump), an off-grid homestead used either full or part time, for farmers and ranchers using watering stations for their livestock (this is particularly suited for open range watering stations) or simply someone unable to use a hand pump because of physical or time constraints.
How Much Water Will It Produce?
It depends. The variables include which of our two pump cylinders (3 or 5 gpm) are being used along with the depth of the static water level. Assuming the pump runs for eight hours, this pump system can deliver between 400 and 1,200 gallons per day.
We designed and engineered the system to run for up to eight hours and finish the day with a fully charged set of batteries ready for begin pumping again tomorrow morning. This system is flexible enough to integrate additional external controls such as a float switch or pressure switch depending on your specific application.
