Model ADA100 Simple Pumps have been installed in National Parks and Forests throughout the USA. Approved for installation due to its 50-year useful life.
Three pumps have experienced problems….one was beaten with a baseball bat by an angry teenager, one was shot by a high-powered rifle and one was run over by a pick-up truck. The one run over by the pick-up truck was not operable. The other two continued to function despite the abuse.

The ADA100 Simple Pump™ takes very little effort to generate strong water flow. The secret is based on a scotch yoke design where rotational motion is converted into linear motion.
This allows you to draw water from 100-foot depths with minimal effort. For added ease, a 10 lb. counter weight assists with the lift cycle.

The ADA100 Simple Pump works reliably in any climate. One pump stands strong in one of the windiest places in the U.S. Dozens more are moving water in temperatures reaching -30°F. For added protection, the drive system is mounted in a sturdy 10 gauge cabinet.
The ADA100 has an exceptionally long life because it is constructed from durable materials that resist wear and tear from daily use. Because of this, it costs very little to maintain.

Operation Specifications
The ADA100 operates in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by requiring no more than 5lbs. of lever arm input force. This is achieved at static water levels of no deeper than 80 feet.
Each ADA100 includes 10 lengths of 9-foot-long drop pipe kits. Including the 1.5 feet length of the pump cylinder, the maximum depth of its point of suction (at the bottom) is 91.5 feet.
The force required to lift water increases with depth, yet the maximum force must be 5 pounds (or less). The ADA100 can be adjusted to attain the maximum water flow for any depth, holding constant at 5 pounds the force the user must exert.
You can adjust the amount of force needed to turn the crank by decreasing the stroke length — the distance the piston travels within the piston at the bottom. This is accomplished by decreasing the diameter of the cam rotation in the scotch yoke. Lessening the stroke reduces the amount of water per rotation. In turn, it cuts down the force needed to rotate the crank.
The lift stroke adjustments result in stroke lengths from 3 to 7 inches.
The ADA100 mounts on a special 4″, 5″, 6″ or 8″ well cap. The suggested minimum casing diameter is 4″. The suggested well casing elevation (above level grade) is 12″ to 20″.
