Several Simple Pump™ clients have replaced perfectly good, working pumps made by other manufacturers with ours simply because the Simple Pump™ is so much easier to use.  The primary reason significantly less effort is required is because Simple Pump™ is the only hand pump on the market made by computer numerical control (CNC) machining. Our pump components are considerably lighter, stronger and machined to tighter tolerances than anything else on the market. The difference is immediately obvious once you hold our pump components in your hand.

Not only is Simple Pump™ extremely easy to use, but it can pump water from much deeper wells. In fact, our pump can lift well water from as deep as 325 feet, far beyond the reach of many other hand operated well pumps.

Simple Pump™ fits into many wells where no other hand pump can be installed, requiring only 1-3/4″ of clearance. No other comparable hand pump can match that flexibility.

IN SUMMARY, THERE IS NO COMPARISON

We encourage you to do your own research. But when we began looking for a backup hand operated pump for our own personal use we had several requirements.

1. We wanted a pump that was ready when we needed it. It might not be used for months, even years, before we needed to use it during an emergency…..or just because the existing submersible pump was down. We didn’t want to deal with trying to install it during the emergency, particularly during the winter. Cheaper pumps have much less capability and usually aren’t completely and permanently installed.

2. We were looking for high quality and ease if use. Other ‘serious‘ pumps with similar output are all considerably more expensive than the Simple Pump™, yet were incapable of pumping into our home’s pressurized water tank nor were they able to pump water from our deep well. Simple Pump can pump from 325 feet down, yet it still fits into most wells alongside the existing submersible pump. Best of all, the actual cylinder pump, and nearly all above ground components, are CNC machined from high quality lead-free stainless steel.

3. When planning for the unknown, usability, flexibility and options are extremely important. We wanted to be able to upgrade to a motor and solar panel power at a later date when we added animals to our homestead. We did NOT want to junk the ‘new‘ hand pump simply because it could not be upgraded. Unlike other hand pumps, the Simple Pump™ can be easily upgraded to a motor and solar panel power at any time AND be quickly downgraded back to hand operation if the need arises. Now that is flexibility and options.
